WRESTLING THE ANGEL –An Artist’s Passage is a 24-minute poetic documentary. Ann Arnold in Berkeley, a fine art painter, tilemaker and illustrator reveals the meaning of life through truth and beauty in everyday objects. Her art creation – and sense of humor – sustains her through a life-threatening crisis.

 

 

Ann also is an illustrator of books by Alice Waters, Chez Panisse restaurant, and a marvelous storyteller. She draws illustrations for Aesop’s Fables and ‘Jacob Wrestling the Angel’ which we animate in this film to inspire viewers with delight and insight.
